Little Treasures from Blogland is a new themed post for Cultivating Time, which I hope to have on a monthly basis. This is where I will be sharing some of the great posts written by my fellow bloggers. I follow a lot of blogs and every month, I try hard to find the time to read other people’s posts. There are always some stand out posts that capture my attention. So here are my March Little Treasures from Blogland –
My Sentiments From the Clouds by Justbluedutch – a brilliant post with some gorgeous cloud photos. This is such a useful way of looking at your worries and responding to worries.
Napoleon Xylophone by NapoleonSplit – it was really lovely to have a fellow blogger recommend a book to me in their post. The book Napoleon Xylophone sounds very intriguing. I love the book cover. I will definitely have to check this book out.
My Day at Hogawarts by Leaves et Livres – this is a place I really want to visit. It looks so much fun – full of magic and escapism.
6 Brunch Types We’ve All Met – by Lineaurea – Lineaurea shares her definitions of the different brunch types. Which brunch type are you?
Paint Nite by An Historian About Town – I really wish there was a paint nite local to me. Here’s a great step by step to creating your own art piece.
Village in the Sky by Cobgoddess – this is a lovely post where Cobgoddess introduces the idea of the Village in the Sky. I am truly honored to be a member. I love this idea.
Draw Your Future by Life As A Potpourri – I hadn’t seen this Ted Talk – Draw Your Future. A really interesting idea and extension on the idea of vision boards.
Unplug Relax and Enjoy by Creating Branches – a great post looking at taking time for self-care and letting joy and peace flow into your life. I really like the thought provoking questions raised in this post.
Misc Monday Science Museum Fun by Girlygeekgirl – this looks like a great idea. I really wish more museums did this sort of thing.
Most Beautiful Easter Tree by Surprisinglives – March is the month of Easter and this Easter Tree definitely has the wow factor. Amazing and beautiful.
Thank you to all my fellow bloggers who have posted in March. I hope you have found something to interest you.
What has been your favorite post in March? Where have you found some Little Treasures in Blogland?
Monthly Reflections is a new category being introduced to Cultivating Time. My monthly Reflections will be a bit of a monthly round up and a chance for me to take stock and reflect on the month. I hope you enjoy.
I will be writing a post next month exploring the role of reflection – watch this space!
February Films & TV
Ant-Man – I loved this film. The special affects were brilliant and great fun. This is the sort of film I feel special effects are made for. Definitely one of my favourite super hero films. Some memorable scenes with the special effects. All I’m going to say is – record, disco, carpet and Thomas! They even managed to be the product placement entertaining and funny. Some really clever concepts and ideas. I even enjoyed the fight scenes, which I normally switch off from completely but these were different. Who knew ants would one day star so greatly in a Hollywood hit! Make sure you stick it out right to the very end of all the credits. There are 2 extra scenes setting the scene for future films.
